Una coppia affiatata e molto legata. Fabrizio, romano con una situazione lavorativa part – time; Alina, una donna straniera impegnata come collaboratrice domestica. Entrambi desiderosi di un figlio. Al momento del concepimento, il buio e la preoccupazione hanno preso il sopravvento sui sentimenti positivi avuti fino a quel momento.
«Alina aveva paura del futuro, la nostra situazione era precaria e la disperazione ha preso il sopravvento», spiega Fabrizio durante l’intervista. «Io però sono credente e la cultura della vita è fondamentale». Allo stesso tempo, però, Fabrizio non sapeva come muoversi perché temeva che la decisione di Alina fosse irreversibile e un contrasto avrebbe alimentato la rottura del rapporto di coppia. Grazie ad alcuni amici è stato dato loro il contatto di Daniela, «valida alleata», presidente del Cav Tiburtino: «mi sono affidato a lei, – precisa Fabrizio – convinto che una voce diversa dalla mia e con l’esperienza di madre avesse accolto Alina affinché accogliesse la gravidanza». La paura del futuro, anche a livello economico, continuava a provare Alina che era sempre più convinta della sua scelta.
Nel frattempo Alina prenotò una visita al consultorio. Fabrizio continuava ad avere paura che una reazione troppo dura avrebbe alimentato la volontà della compagna di interrompere la gravidanza, la scelta per la cui optò era «difficile ma indispensabile»: mentre la accompagna al consultorio per le prime visite continua ad avere contatti telefonici con Daniela per riuscire a portarla anche al Cav, con la scusa del sostegno economico.
«Arrivati al consultorio abbiamo trovato solo desolazione, mi hanno fatto una visita con un atteggiamento sterile e freddo al problema», spiega Alina. «Hanno completamente eluso la dissuasione – ha ricordato Alina – e mi hanno consegnato il certificato». Nel frattempo il permesso lavorativo per Fabrizio era stato concesso in modo provvidenziale dai suoi responsabili. La domenica successiva hanno combinato un colloquio con Daniela, presso la sede del Cav Tiburtino. «Con Daniela ci siamo sentiti a casa, mi ha fatto sentire a mio agio, mi ha ascoltato e abbiamo parlato a lungo», racconta Alina ripensando a quei giorni. «Ho capito che ciò che avevo in grembo era vivo, il suo cuore batteva dentro di me», precisa visibilmente commossa, incrociando lo sguardo di Fabrizio. Quella domenica sera la vita di Fabrizio e Alina è cambiata. Il futuro da problematico è diventato una sfida da vivere minuto per minuto. «Grazie al Cav abbiamo ritrovato la speranza», ha sintetizzato Alina.
Oggi Fabrizio e Alina sono diventati volontari del Cav Tiburtino. Hanno deciso di ricambiare il dono che hanno ricevuto, con la stessa gratuità e amore per la vita. Sono volontari per la vita. Inoltre, si rendono sempre disponibili a portare la loro esperienza e testimonianza affinché la cultura della vita non resti soltanto un nobile ideale ma diventi un volto concreto capace di cambiare i cuori di quanti incontrano nella loro vita.Il 22 maggio 2016 è nata Francesca, tra la gioia dei genitori e quella dei volontari che fino a quel momento erano diventati una famiglia unica. Una comunità che attendeva il più grande dono che il Signore aveva promesso loro. La scelta del nome non è stata casuale: in onore del Santo Padre Francesco, ai quali Fabrizio e Alina si sentono molto legati. Daniela è diventata la madrina della piccola neonata. «Quando ero in crisi ho trovato un valido alleato che mi sostenesse e non facesse prevalere gli aspetti negativi della nostra situazione», così Alina ha concluso la sua esperienza, guardando con fierezza la bimba che felice teneva tra le braccia.
Secondo Maria Luisa Di Ubaldo «quella di Fabrizio e Alina è una storia tanto ordinaria quanto straordinaria». Da una parte, si dimostra «ordinaria perché racconta il servizio quotidiano che i Centri di Aiuto alla Vita compiono a Roma e in Italia». Dall’altra, «è straordinaria perché prova tutte le volte come l’amore sia capace di vincere su tutto, anche nelle situazioni più difficili e impensabili».
