Tribunale assolve farmacista: Gigli, riaffermato primato coscienza su legge
Vitanews – Roma, 20 DIC – “Il Tribunale di Gorizia ha solennemente riaffermato il primato della coscienza sulla legge, si tratta di un tema che diventerà sempre più pressante a causa degli sviluppi della ricerca biomedica e delle applicazioni tecnologiche in ambito sanitario. Per questo, come Presidente del Movimento per la Vita Italiano – e come parlamentare eletto in Friuli Venezia-Giulia – prendo atto con grande soddisfazione della sentenza con cui è stata assolta la farmacista E.M. dall’accusa di essere rifiutata di dispensare il cosiddetto ‘contraccettivo di emergenza “Norlevo“. Lo dichiara il presidente del Movimento per la Vita Italiano, On. Gian Luigi Gigli.
“Il rifiuto – sottolinea Gigli – era stato motivato invocando la clausola di coscienza e il codice deontologico dei farmacisti che impegna il farmacista ad operare ‘in piena autonomia e coscienza professionale, conformemente ai principi etici e tenendo sempre presenti i diritti del malato e il rispetto della vita’. Nella consulenza scientifica a difesa, il Prof. Bruno Mozzanega, docente della Clinica Ostetrica dell’Università di Padova e membro del Consiglio direttivo del MpVI, ha richiamato con chiarezza l’equivoco scientifico con cui si cerca di oscurare il potenziale abortivo delle pillole dei giorni dopo, nascondendone il loro effetto antinidatorio, con cui impediscono l’attecchimento del nuovo embrione sulla parete uterina. Nell’attesa del dispositivo della sentenza, il MpVI ringrazia sentitamente l’Avv. Simone Pillon per aver efficacemente difeso in giudizio la farmacista ingiustamente perseguitata, nell’interesse della libertà di coscienza di tutti i professionisti della salute”.
